Position Overview 

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience and be proficient in both Japanese and English. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company, particularly during the winter peak season. While the workload increases during this period, almost no overtime is expected during the remaining months of the year.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Manage and perform month-end/year-end close process. Liaise closely with outside contracted tax accountant to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and team members.
  • Other relevant duties assigned.

 

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Nissho Boki Level 3 and above.

3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.

Proficiency in both Japanese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

 

Salary Range

JPY 280,000 to JPY 400,000 per month, depending on candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Year-end bonus will be paid depending on employee and company.

【June 16th (Sunday) Course Volunteer】
Tasks: Course marshals (supporting traffic safety and cheering on racers at various points throughout the course).
Work hours: Until 6:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
Meeting place: Rankoshi Town Ranran Park at 6:00
Working locations: Miwa/Mena/Kyoei/Onari districts in Rankoshi
6:00 AM: Support staff will meet at 6:00 AM sharp on June 16th at Ranran Park in Rankoshi Town. Red flags for course marshaling will be distributed, and other staff materials.
6:30 AM: After a brief meeting, staff will move to each course marshal location (using event staff vehicles).
7:30 ~ 10:30 AM: Competitors will pass points along the course between approximately 7:30 and 10:30 AM, depending on the on-course location.
After all competitors pass, event support staff will collect on-course signage and other items from approximately 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM (using event staff vehicles).
Upon completion, support staff will be returned to Ranran Park where you must return the red course marshal flags and other items as required by the organizer. Upon return, you will receive boxed bento lunches, and will be dismissed.
※ Support staff registration is open until 6:00 PM on Monday, June 3rd
※ A pre-event briefing is scheduled for the 3rd week of June (online meeting from 6:00 to 7:00 PM).
※ The online meeting link will be sent to the email address provided later.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Frantz Slater Design Collective, our clients, and project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead projects focusing on master planning, landscape, and architectural design, ensuring they meet our high standards of creativity and innovation.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including architects, landscape designers, engineers, and other professionals.
  • Understand and apply local regulations and zoning laws to project planning and execution.
  • Solve project-related issues by applying innovative and contextually appropriate solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation, ensuring all aspects of the project are delivered to the client’s satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

Chef/Cook (24 Summer) @ Caldera Niseko

Caldera is a new restaurant located in Niseko with menu, space and concept carefully curated by Michelin starred co-founder, Chef Matt Abergel of Yardbird Hong Kong.

The food menu celebrates Hokkaido’s homegrown natural resources, with fresh seafood, roasted meats, and local vegetables served in family-style sharing formats. The space and concept are similarly designed to be fun, warm and inviting, providing the perfect dining environment for small intimate groups to larger sized festive gatherings.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Daily setup and breakdown of kitchen
  • Work with the FOH Team to prepare/pack daily takeout orders
  • Work with the Executive Chef and FOH team to ensure smooth daily operations in the kitchen for takeaway and dinner service
  • Remain flexible to fill in additional roles as needed (ie: cleaner/expeditor/different kitchen stations)

Requirements :

  • Relevant Kitchen experience is required
  • Must have valid visa with work permission in Japan
  • Bilingual English/Japanese preferred but not required
