Route 58 will be closed until further notice

The route 58 will be closed until further notice.

Due to heavy rainfall and high risk of land slide, Route 58 Goshiki Onsen-Kutchan Hanazono line (well-known as the Kutchan - Niseko line) has been closed. It is at this time unknown when will be opened again.


Skybus to commence Daiko (Driving Service) in August 2014

Skybus launches their Daiko service on 10 August. The service will be offered in conjunction with their taxi operation (SPRINT).

The Niseko Panorama Line will be closed until further notice

The Niseko Panorama Line will be closed until further notice.

Due to heavy rainfall and high risk of land slide, Route 66 Iwanai-Toya (well-known as the niseko panorama line) has been closed. It is at this time unknown when will be opened again.

 

Please take a detour to route 5 if you are planing to drive the route 66.


Sunflowers Blooming and "Niseko carriage" service launched at Milk Kobo!

The first sunflowers at Milk Kobo are now blooming and as a result of the larger field this year, they are expecting the flowers will continue to bloom in different sections until end of August. Come by to get the summer feeling or a few memorable shots.

Also, a new "Niseko carriage" experience, operated by Hokkaido Lion Adventure, was launched at Milk Kobo on July 19th. The ride leaves from and returns to Milk Kobo after going through the sunflower field and nearby meadowland. The carriage also visits a ranch where you may get to see baby calves! Family fun in Niseko.

[Price (approx. 20 mins tour): 500yen/person, FOC for age of 3 or younger]

[The area's tourist information will be provided by the attendant during the tour.]

Niseko HANAZONO Hill Climb traffic control information (Aug. 3)

Due to Niseko HANAZONO Hill Climb bicycle road race, traffic restriction will take place on the following roads in the Niseko area on Sunday, August 3.  Your understanding and cooperation would be much appreciated.  Please see the maps on the flyer for more information or contact the Executive Committee (Tel: 090-2056-2093, Email inquiry form).

Date and hours: Sunday, August 3; 10:00-13:30

Resticted sections: Ekimae Street and other route in Kutchan town (see the map at the top on the flyer)

->  Temporarily restricted from 10:00 until all the racers pass through

Road 58 (see the map at the bottom of the flyer)

-> Red section - both lanes to be blocked between 10:00~13:30

-> Pink section - to be blocked from 10:00 until all the racers pass through
