Sushi lovers will love the flavourful Sushi prepared fresh in front of them by Sushi Master Kamada San. Each diner can enjoy eight artfully crafted pieces of sushi served from a traditional sushi bar set up in the comfort of your home. Enjoy market-fresh scallops, salmon, chutoro, maguro, white seasonal fish, mackerel, sweet prawns and egg are included in the service. Choose either sukiyaki with Hokkaido Tokachi and wagyu beef shoulder loin, or shabu-shabu with Hokkaido Makkari herb pork shoulder loin, or Tokachi apple beef shoulder loin, Chinese cabbage, chrysanthemum, leeks, carrot, enoki, tofu, noodles and accompaniments.

Get ready for a memorable experience as Chef Abe San meticulously prepares a Fugu Dinner. An acclaimed delicacy wherein poisonous parts of the puffer fish are removed before cooking the meat, this thrilling meal comprises a variety of fugu dishes such as hot sake flavoured with grilled fugu fins, sashimi, fried fugu and fugu hot pot. A story that you are sure to retell at many dinner parties in the years to come.

Chef Tanaka San’s Tempura Dinner is a tale of the freshest seafood. The meal includes three kinds of market-fresh sashimi and 10 pieces of delicate seafood and vegetable tempura (including king prawn, sea eel, squid, whitefish, rockfish, lotus root, sweet potato, eggplant, leek and shiitake mushroom) per person. This sumptuous selection is served with three varieties of Japanese salt, seasonal salad with scallops and yuzu dressing, Ten-Chazuke (tempura rice), dashi, green tea soup, and red bean steamed bun tempura.

Settle down for a delightful Thai Family-Style Dinner prepared by Chef Annie. The four-course Thai dinner is served in sharing portions and cooked using local ingredients with Thai accents. Choices include fresh spring rolls, chicken satay, grilled beef salad, prawn and squid curry powder sauce, tom yum goong, tom kha gai, duck curry, coconut curried mussels with basil, and chicken khao soi.

Niseko Gourmet have implemented strict hygiene controls and procedures in light of the current COVID-19 situation. Their staff members have undergone extensive training and safety management measures have been put into place. Hand sanitisers are available for the use of the staff and customers, dining tables and chairs are disinfected before and after dinner service, and all silverware and equipment are chemically hot washed so you can enjoy your meals stress-free.

he 2020/21 winter season is coming soon! Make sure to mark these dates down in your calendar!
This season most lifts will be running at half capacity, and a few lifts in Grand Hirafu will be closed. The resort will otherwise mostly run as normal, except for a few changes in Grand Hirafu.

Edventure Autumn Camp 2020
The Kids Autumn Camp by EdVenture is now open for registrations. Activities are hands-on and nature-based to help participants to develop their language skills in a fun and safe environment.
Over the course of 3 days, participants will construct a modular scooter, take part in arts and crafts, cycling along the Shiribetsu River, visit Lake Hangetsu for an orienteering adventure, pick vegetables for an organic pizza, and more!

Niseko Autumn Food Festival 2020 - Wrap Up
The 2020 Niseko Autumn Food Festival has now wrapped up, making it the third year in a row the festival was held.
The 2020 Niseko Autumn Food Festival has now wrapped up, making it the third year in a row the festival was held.
This year's festival was more successful than ever with almost 10,000 attendees over the five-day event. Thank you to everyone who attended and for following all COVID safety guidelines. We were pleased to be able to host this event in the safest and most responsible way possible.
The purpose of the festival is to showcase the famous Niseko produce as well as the skill and talent of local chefs. The festival also focusses on being as environmentally friendly as possible, with the theme of "Less Plastic is Fantastic" - a slogan which can be seen on the shirts of all the staff and volunteers of the event!
This year certainly did not disappoint with a wide variety of internationally inspired dishes as well as Japanese classics.

As well as talented chefs, there were also talented musicians, with a lineup of great DJ's and bands from around the area.
There was fun for the whole family with the special kids play area, complete with big and small jumping castles.
Kutchan Town mascot "Jagata-Kun" also came out to enjoy the festivities!
Niseko is famous for it's produce, and what better way to enjoy it than when it's prepared by local chefs!
Thanks to everyone who attended and made this year the biggest year for the festival so far.

Winners - Niseko Summer Shootout 2020
The inaugural Niseko Summer Shootout has wrapped up, with winners announced at this year’s Niseko Autumn Food Festival.
There were so many great entries showcasing the natural beauty of Niseko. Even though there were no categories, most photographers chose to capture all the different aspects of the Niseko landscape.

The clear night skies over Mt. Yotei made a big impression on judges, with strong visual lines leading right up through the foreground of the image.
Winning second place and a ¥5,000 MTB voucher from Niseko Nine and ¥5,000 cash prize is Reilly McGlashan – @reilly_mcglashan.
This hidden waterfall and pool is an instant classic that showcases just how magical the landscape can be.
Winning 1st place and taking home a ¥10,000 MTB voucher from @nisekonine , an avalanche course from @risingsunguides valued at ¥25,000, and a ¥10,000 cash prize is Takashi Okada – @oka_photo.
It’s often hard to describe the ‘feeling’ of Niseko, but this image by Takashi Okada achieves exactly that. This image has beautifully captured the ever-changing mood of the Niseko ranges. Well done to Takashi on a well-deserved first place!

Grand Hirafu has announced their operating schedule for this winter. There are a number of changes due to COVID-19, including operating lifts, opening dates, shuttle bus, and lift capacity. The good news is that most of the resort lifts will be operational meaning that guests and locals will still be able to have a great resort experience.
Dates:

- Planned Night Skiing: December 19 - March 7
- The above are subject to change due to weather or COVID situation
