KEY DUTIES
The Spa Manager is responsible for managing the team and day-to-day operations of the Rikka Spa as well as delivering on the strategic objectives of the brand.

• Lead the people through good example and being an active team player
• Deliver high quality treatments including counselling and consultations
• Ensure all Spa team members adhere to the SOPs, best practice, regulations and
company policy
• To support the recruitment, induction, training development of all spa contractors
• Oversee Spa operations, ensuring that sales and operational budgets, services
standards and operational procedures are in place and are effectively being delivered
• Help analyze monthly reports using the information to grow the business (policy and
operations of the Spa, competition, occupancy, and usage, etc)
• Collaborate with marketing to help execute effective sales & marketing initiatives to
increase business levels, repeat clientele etc.

ABOUT YOU
You are a polished and experienced luxury spa leader who loves to develop your team and build a strong supportive culture. You understand the importance of ongoing training and are happy to keep your skills current, performing treatments when required. Financially savvy, you know the importance of effective rostering and scheduling, as well as aligning the operations with the brand values and deliverables.
• Experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced day spa environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience to provide training and developing spa personnel
• Competent computer skills including spa-scheduling, systems and software
• Ensuring 5-star service at all times

STANDARD WORKING HOURS
• Variable working hours scheduled on monthly basis e.g 13:00 ‒ 22:00 including 60-
minute break (8 working hours)
• Hours may increase during high occupancy periods
• Days off: 2 days off per week (shift system), 116 days or more off per year

WHAT WE OFFER
• Retainer fee: Y350,000 to Y500,000 per month
• Consideration based on skills, experience, and language skills
• Trial Period (initial 2 to 3 months): Y280,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership & Management:

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience:
    • Ideally experience in either real estate development, sales, resort or hospitality sectors.
    • Strong understanding of the Niseko market is an asset
    • Experience working with stakeholders in a resort or luxury property setting is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
