  • Job Title: PR and Communications

 

  • Location: 41-5 Aza-Kabayama, Kutchan-cho, Abuta-gun, Hokkaido

 

  • Terms: until 31 March, 2025 (One-year contract renewal)

 

  • Salary: Monthly salary from 250,000 yen + two bonuses

Discussion based on ability

 

  • Working hours: 9:00 to 18:00

(Overtime work available during peak season)

 

  • Holidays: 119 days per year

-Two days off per week, Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays

-Other holidays: Obon and New Year holidays

(Work may be required on holidays)

 

  • Benefits: Social insurance, transportation expenses paid (up to a limit), paid vacations, severance payment

 

  • About us: Niseko Tourism is a Destination Marketing Organization responsible for tourism marketing in the Niseko area of Hokkaido, a well-known ski tourism destination. Aiming to become a year-round tourist destination, we aim to attract tourists not only from Japan, but also from other parts of Asia, Australia, North America, and Europe. Niseko Tourism is implementing a variety of public-private sector initiatives, including local businesses and governments, and the Japan Tourism Agency.

 

  • About the role: This position will provide day-to-day communication with local businesses, event support, and management of advertising publications and media in order to build relationships with local businesses who are members of Niseko Tourism in cooperation with other staff members.

 

  • Responsibilities
  • PR/Media Management

-Developing and managing PR campaigns

-Coordinating media relations and press releases

-Overseeing content management for digital platforms (SNS, website, app)

-Managing member inquiries and support related to PR activities

-Area guide and resort map, other ads related management

  • Event Management

-Organizing member networking events and other PR-related events

  • Member Relationship Management

-Managing member inquiries and support

-Recruiting new members and onboarding them

-Organising member events and networking opportunities

-Member’s card management

  • Community Engagement

-Building and maintaining relationships with local businesses and residents

-Promoting community events and initiatives

 

  • Qualifications

-Language Ability: Japanese business level, English business level, other languages are a plus

-At least 2 years of experience in PR or marketing

-Ability to direct team members and manage projects

-Ability to prepare documents using Microsoft Office(Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

-Cooperative spirit to work with other staff
