Job description:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Booking Consultant for the upcoming winter season. As a Booking Consultant at Explore Niseko, you will be responsible for assisting guests with all aspects of their travel arrangements, ensuring a seamless booking process, and helping them create unforgettable memories in Niseko.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inquiries from guests via phone, email, and online chat, providing personalized assistance and information about accommodation options, activities, and services

  • Assist guests with booking accommodations, transportation, lift tickets, equipment rentals, and other amenities to create custom vacation packages tailored to their preferences and budget

  • Coordinate with activity partners to confirm reservations and ensure the accuracy of booking details

  • Process payments and handle booking-related administrative tasks with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactively follow up with guests to confirm reservations, provide pre-arrival information, and address any questions or concerns

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Explore Niseko’s offerings, as well as local attractions, events, and services, to provide expert recommendations and advice to guests

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or travel industry preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a high level of attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Japanese) are a plus

  • Passion for travel, outdoor recreation, and exploring new destinations

  • Valid International Driver’s License

  • Must have or be eligible for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

  • Seasonal employment with the opportunity for extension (Dec 1st, 2024 – March 1st / 15th, 2025)
