Niseko, one of Hokkaido’s most popular resort destinations, is launching its latest travel campaign – “Be Free”. In its new campaign, Niseko Tourism urges travellers to escape the city to experience Niseko’s wide-open spaces, fresh air and stunning winter landscapes. The new campaign video highlights the incredible scenes awaiting visitors, proving that Niseko is the perfect place to explore and break free.

Niseko is a world-class international destination, often referred to as the Aspen of Asia, and offers a completely unique experience within Japan. Visitors are drawn to its combination of modern style and luxury mixed with the stunning Hokkaido nature – beautiful mountains, open terrain – an incredible winter wonderland that many have been dreaming of.

Niseko Hotel

While Niseko is primarily famous for its powder snow there is much more on offer outside of the four ski resorts Annupuri, Niseko Village, Grand Hirafu and Hanazono. Unlike other resorts across Japan, Niseko has a wide selection of accommodations, wine and dine services and activities sure to satisfy any traveller. Niseko Tourism will release two more videos during this campaign – one featuring women enjoying the slopes, and another video specifically for families. The three campaign videos show that anyone can experience the perfect winter holiday in Niseko and relax and unwind in paradise.

Niseko has also become famous as a hot-spot for foreign tourists, however, due to border restrictions over the past year the number of international guests has temporarily declined. This had little impact on the ambience of the resort area as there is such a strong international atmosphere – fitting for the world-class resort.

Onsen

The resort area has implemented many safety measures, including the vaccination of around 2,000 frontline hospitality workers. This could be the last chance for those living in Japan to experience the ultimate freedom in Niseko, as the resort is expected to be back to its usual capacity next winter.
