ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Manager is responsible to develop and foster business through proactive direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls, and tours of the hotel. Also develops strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.
Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize the performance of the sales team. Additionally, work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.


REQUIRMENTS
● High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
● 3+ years of past sales experience preferred.
● Essential prior experience in the field of hospitality with specific experience in Local and International TA sales.
● Must have experience at a similar size and quality hotel.
● Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written in Japanese and English.
● Must possess computer skills, including, the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
● Must be willing to “pitch in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
● Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
● Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
● The ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, the public, guests, and vendors. Job specific tasks

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
● Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone and email prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communication.
● Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current, and potential clients.
● Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various departments participation in servicing accounts.
● Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
● Prepare information for, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.
● Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers.
● Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
● Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports, and file maintenance.
● Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and other sales-related meetings as required.
● Professionally represents the hotel in trade shows, community events and industry organizations/meetings.
● Knowledge of market trends, competition, and key customers of the hotel.
● Responsible to act, performing, and being discreet according to MUWA NISEKO/ Brand Policy, Procedures, and Standards Compliances

Treatment and benefits:.

Monthly salary between ¥250,000 – ¥600,000 ( pending experience and position level)
