Niseko Portfolio is an innovative property management and holiday rental company operating a growing portfolio of accommodation in Niseko and Rusutsu. We provide a variety of quality accommodation and hospitality services in boutique hotels, condominiums and holiday homes. We build strong relationships with our clients, ensuring that all of our customers get the best out of their holiday.

We are currently seeking a punctual and motivated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper for the upcoming winter season. As a Housekeeper at Niseko Portfolio, you are responsible for committing to our high standards of cleanliness to ensure our guests’ holidays are relaxing and comfortable.

• Guest room cleaning (kitchen, bathroom, living area, bedrooms and bed making)

• Completing daily checklists to ensure that cleanliness and condition of each assigned area meets our standards

• Logging any maintenance issues, and reporting them to the relevant departments

• Ensuring a seamless check-in experience by ensuring housekeeping is to the highest standard and guests have all required amenities

• Provide assistance to guests by handling requests (towels, amenities etc)

• Maintaining cleaning equipment

• Working and communicating as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the operation

• Previous experience as a housekeeper is preferred

• Passionate about providing exceptional service

• Track record of high standards of cleanliness

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a high level of attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Fluency in English, Japanese is a plus

• Passion for travel, outdoor recreation, and exploring new destinations

• Valid International Driver’s License

• Must have or be eligible for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

• 25 – 40 hours per week (busier during peak season)

• Seasonal employment with the opportunity for extension (Dec 1st, 2024 – March 1st / 15th, 2025)

• Competitive hourly wage – ¥ 1600 per hour

• Plenty of skiing/riding time available

• 50% Rusutsu / Hirafu Hanazono Lift Pass value reimbursement upon completion of the contract and end-of-season performance review

• Japan National Health Insurance coverage – deducted from salary

• Staff housing options available – deducted from salary

• 2 complimentary transfer dates from New Chitose Airport to staff accommodation
