Skiing and Snowboarding

Hanazono Activities
Usually starting late April, visitors can enjoy the thrilling Hanazono Tree Trekking activity, where all ages can walk in the treetops on a ropes course. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the Hanazono Zipflight (starting from March 15th to April 7th), the longest zipline park in Japan, will also open in around the same time. Families with young children can check out the Hanazono Galaxy of Kidz indoor climbing park, which features areas for kids aged 2 to 5 as well as more challenging activities for those aged 6 to 15. And don’t forget the Hanazono summer gondola, offering stunning views of Mt. Yotei and the surrounding area. The Hanazono Beach also opens around the same period, with fishing ready to be enjoyed as well as kayaking. Niseko Sports retail store will also be open for shopping as well as the Café Hanazono 308.
Hanazono Golf usually opens at the start of May.
Niseko Village Activities
Niseko Village is always great in the spring season, with the opening of its two golf courses and “Pure” activity centre both usually opening at the end of April. Both the Niseko Golf Course and the Niseko Village Golf Course will be open to guests for a round of golf.
Pure at Niseko Village, the exciting nature activity centre, offers a variety of activities suitable for all ages and includes the Pure Quick Jump and Rail Slider.
In addition, the retail store, Village Sports, will be open with specified hours of operation.
Rafting Activities
Rafting in Niseko is a thrilling adventure that shouldn’t be missed during the spring season. The season typically starts around the end of April and runs until October. As the snow melts, the rivers swell with water and create a perfect environment for whitewater rafting. Experienced guides will lead you through the rapids, providing a safe and exciting ride. With stunning views of the surrounding nature, rafting in Niseko is an unforgettable experience that will leave you wanting more.
Rafting can be enjoyed at a number of tour companies in Niseko including Hanazono , Niseko Adventure Center (NAC), NOASC Adventure Tours and Hokkaido Lion Adventure.
Golfing
The Niseko area is home to several renowned golf courses to challenge players of all abilities. Set in the hilly basin between Mount Yotei and Mount Niseko Annupuri, its unique location provides a great variety of courses through woodlands, hills, and wide-open greens with a breathtaking view of the mountains.
There are total three golf courses in the area within 30min drive: Hanazono Golf, Niseko Village Golf Course and Niseko Golf Course, open from end of April through early November.
