Job Overview
As a member of the Sales and Reservations team, the Group Coordinator will manage reservations, arrangements, and hosting for both domestic and international groups. This rewarding role involves overseeing the entire journey of each group, from arrival to departure.
Responsibilities
Key tasks include:
- Responding to phone and email inquiries for domestic and international group reservations.
- Creating reservations and internal arrangements using the reservation system.
- Coordinating and arranging services based on customer needs.
- Assisting with group check-ins and check-outs.
- Supporting group sales operations.
- Assisting with individual reservation tasks.
Reports to: Setsu Niseko Sales and Marketing Manager
Qualifications / Requirements
- A clear understanding of Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service, with a commitment to delivering it.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to inspire and collaborate with colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal staff and external parties.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
- Punctual and considerate of colleagues at all times.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English for phone and email communication.
- A driving license is a plus.
Standard Working Hours
- 8 hours per day, typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Work hours may vary based on group accommodation schedules.
- Must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required by management.
Employment Benefits
- Monthly salary: 250,000 – 290,000 yen (plus annual discretionary bonus).
- Paid statutory holidays: 10 days after 6 months of employment, 11 days after 1 year and 6 months.
- Discounts on various group products, such as ski rentals, ski school, and golf.
- Individual Seasonal HANAZONO Grand Hirafu lift pass.
- Japanese Health Insurance and Pension as required by law.
- Commuting allowance up to 45,000 yen per month.
- Retirement plan after 10 years of service.
- Relocation assistance (up to 200,000 yen for those relocating from outside Hokkaido, or 100,000 yen from within Hokkaido).
