Foreign Physician Clinical Training Program (2025-26 Season) @ Niseko International Clinic

  1. Program Overview

Niseko International Clinic is designated by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan (MHLW) as a clinical training institution for foreign physicians. Since receiving this designation in April 2023, we have hosted doctors from Mexico and Scotland, providing international-standard medical care in a unique environment.

For the 2025-26 season, we are recruiting foreign physicians to participate in our Clinical Training Program. This program offers doctors from around the world an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Japan’s medical environment while expanding their international perspectives.

  1. Recruitment Details
  • Target Applicants: Foreign-licensed physicians with clinical experience
  • Number of Openings: Limited positions available
  • Training Period: December 2025 – March 2026 (4 months)

Extension up to 2 years possible

  • Location: Niseko International Clinic, Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan
  • Responsibilities: Assisting with outpatient care, patient management, and general medical duties
  1. Eligibility Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a physician (including experience in your home country)
  • Fluent in English for medical consultations
  • Japanese reading and writing skills are preferred but not required
  • Must be physically and mentally healthy
  • Strong teamwork skills and a patient-centered approach
  1. Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
  • Days Off: 2 days per week (shift-based)
  • Salary: No salary can be provided due to regulations
  • However, all living expenses (accommodation, food, airfare, etc.) will be fully covered by the clinic
