Beautiful traditional Kominka wood frame home now available for sale!
This Kominka (traditional Japanese farmhouse) was built in 1859 in Hida City, Gifu Prefecture and survived a large earthquake.
This exceptional 338 sqm / 2 story building was painstakingly dismantled and the beams and timbers tagged and shipped to the Niseko area.
These incredibly solid timbers feature naturally weathered grain and and an elegant rustic quality that is almost unachievable today. The home could be re-assembled, or the timbers used for interior design, renovation projects, or furniture making.
