Him Kee is a well established Hong Kong Style Chinese hotpot restaurant that has a long history in Hong Kong in delivering premium hotpot dishes to customers for over 20 years.  We have launched our flagship store in Niseko, Japan and our restaurant in a newly built and beautifully renovated store that has high street visibility and has exceptional views of Yotei mountain set within a modern and stylish space.  We plan to be the best hotpot destination in Niseko and cater to an wide range of premium customers from all over the world.

 

Our restaurant’s focus on exceptionally fresh, local and high-quality seasonal ingredients and have perfected a unique and delicious soup base in order to make our dining experience even more special for our customers.  We are one of the first to launch an authentic cantonese style Chinese hotpot in Niseko.

 

The successful applicant will bring the knowledge, experience, and passion to continue developing Him Kee as premium hotpot brand in Niseko.

 

STORE MANAGER

 

The Role:

Negotiating / Purchasing and Receive from suppliers
Beverage and supplies cost management
Food and Beverage Stock Take
・Staff Training,  Roster and Labor Cost Management
Reservations management
Bar management
Daily sales and register management
Invoice management
Advertising and marketing content
Maintain High Guest Service Standards and Follow-up
Outbound Sales and Marketing
Maintain sanitation and safety standards

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

・Over 3 years’ experience of at least assistant manager of medium to large restaurant
・Language skills: High level Japanese and high level English required
・Computer skills – Microsoft Office, PMS, POS
・Valid driving license
・Professional, courteous and friendly manner
・Natural team-leader with proven experience solving problems in a team environment
・Understanding of supply procurement and sourcing, negotiating and quality control 

・Ability to take part in the local community, be respected and trusted by community
・Shows high levels attention to detail and ability to organise work to achieve objectives and deadlines

Employment Package Details

Employment Period: Ongoing full time year round

Language:  English / Japanese


Annual Salary: ¥320,000 to ¥400,000 per month all inclusive


Location: Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan


Working Hours:

  • Average 44 hours per week 
  • Sick leave: 5 days
  • Annual paid leave: 10days (after 6 months of employment)
