Setsu Niseko - Winter Seasonal Front Desk Duty Manager

Job Overview

The duty manager will oversee the daily operations of the Front Office and ensure that the team works together to create a memorable stay at Setsu Niseko by providing high quality of service.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Oversee the daily shift of front office operations
  • First point of supervisory level contact to resolve any owners and guests related issues
  • Create and ensure a happy and safe working environment
  • Communicate closely with tenants to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Adapt to operational challenges and be flexible where necessary

Reports to: Setsu Niseko Front Desk Supervisor

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Front desk experience ideally with seasonal/resort experience
  • A self-starter that can work independently
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Native or business level English, conversational level Japanese is ideal
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
Standard Working Hours
  • Start Date: Nov 06, 2023
  • 9 hours shift with 1 hour break between the hours of 07:00 and 24:00.
  • Hours may increase during high occupancy periods
Contract Period

Nov 06, 2023 – Mar 31, 2024

Hourly Wage

¥1,700 – ¥1,800
