Job Overview
Setsu Niseko HR supervisor will take a lead of recruitment for opening staff of Setsu Niseko including seasonal staff and handle day to day HR operational duties together with HR manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
The key tasks that are required of this person include:
- Recruitment
- Post job ads to appropriate platforms
- Manage applications and follow them up accordingly
- Scheduling and conducting interviews
- Prepare and process internal hiring applications
- Assist to address registration/de-registration and set-up/close bank account for foreign staff
- Prepare employment contract and other required documents
- Handle on boarding process
- Handle applications of social insurance, pension and unemployment insurance enrolment and leave documentations
- Collect employee’s information, personal IDs and documents
- Create employment regulations/rules for Setsu Niseko staff as needed
- Issue staff ID card
- Manage staff uniforms distribution and collection
- Assist to administer and promote staff benefit
- Set up new employee’s data into the system
- Final check for time sheet excels at month end for payroll processing and data entry to payroll system
- Prepare and distribute pay slips
- Manage AL applications
- To ensure working environment is safe and create happy working environment
- Be aware of what’s happening in the labour market and report to superiors
Reports to: Finance Senior Manager and HR Manager
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experiences of recruitment of full-time staff and seasonal staff
- Knowledge of Japanese social insurance system and labour law
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization
- Language skills: English and Japanese
- A self-starter who can work independently and achieve targets
- Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
- Ability to work well under pressure and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
- Always be punctual and considerate of fellow workers
- Visa status permitting full-time work in Japan. Sponsorship available for the right applicant
