Position: Seasonal Reservations Officer（Part-time）

Contract Period: Mid November 2023 – 31st March 2024

Job summary 

Vacation Niseko facilities are home to many guests who come to Niseko to enjoy the powder snow in the winter. The sales team is responsible for ensuring our guests have a wonderful and memorable experience from pre-sales up until resort departure. There is potential to extend past the end of contract for the right candidate.

Standard working hours

Standard working hours: 40 hours a week. 8 hours a day between 8:00 to 19:00 (60 minutes break). This includes working on the weekends and public holiday.

Responsibilities and duties 

  • Prompt processing of incoming enquiries, reservations, amendments, and cancellations from Direct, Partnered Travel Agent and Online Travel Agents
  • Timely handling of guest service bookings prior to arrival, and whilst guests are in resort
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge about the latest product and resort information
  • Sustained upkeep of daily duties including, pending tasks, and follow-ups concerning reservations and other tasks as operationally needed
  • Maintain a good and professional relationship among partnered, OTAs and suppliers
  • Supporting the sales and marketing team

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Native English language skill
  • Previous experience in travel / tourism industry preferred
  • Previous experience in a Reservations or Sales Position preferred
  • Intermediate computer skills required, including, but not limited to, G suite, Google Workspace or Office 365
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
