Job Overview

The Night Front Desk staff performs day-to-day front desk duties in the night, working with the Front Office team to provide the best hospitality experience for owners and guests in Setsu Niseko.

Responsibilities and Duties

The key tasks that are required of this person include:

  • Handle check ins and check outs
  • Handle cash, credit card and other daily transactions
  • Review folios to make sure the guest account charges are correct
  • Reconcile the daily transactions
  • Roll over the date in Front Office System
  • Prepare for next day departures and arrivals
  • Assist enquiries from the guests
  • Handle emergency situations
  • Assist in any other related work when necessary.

Reports to: Setsu Niseko Front Desk Overnight Supervisor

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Good at numbers and like to do detailed work
  • Passionate about customer service
  • Understand Setsu Niseko’s vision for customer service and be committed to its delivery
  • Be an excellent, flexible, inspirational and involved team player
  • Ability to set priorities and work to deadlines with close attention to detail
  • Always be punctual and considerate of fellow work colleagues
  • Native or business level English. Conversational level Japanese is a plus
  • Visa status permitting work in Japan
  • Valid Driver’s licence in Japan or international drivers’ permission
Standard Working Hours

9 hours per day (with 1 hour break); between 20:00-08:00; 5days a week.
25% extra late-night hourly wage (from 22:00 to 5:00, excluding break time)
