Location: Niseko or Furano, Hokkaido, Japan

As the leading property manager of luxury accommodation, our Asset Management division has an  extensive list of properties that require meticulous attention and care. Applicants will be responsible for  leading a team of staff to ensure managed properties are kept in good condition throughout winter and  summer to retain property value and rentability. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Training, organizing and supervising a small team of maintenance and groundskeeping staff. Reporting property maintenance issues to colleagues and actively driving the process that  ensures the issues are repaired and resolved in a professional manner. 
  • Regular inspections of properties under H2 Group management to ensure the highest levels of  professional property management. 
  • Performing basic maintenance and repair activities where required (changing light bulbs,  checking boiler settings, etc).  
  • Organising 3rd-party suppliers to complete other, more technical, repairs. 

Skills we are looking for 

  • Someone with an eye for quality and doing things right. 
  • Someone with an attention to detail. Being able to fill in maintenance reports and inspection  reports clearly and accurately is an important part of this role. Someone who can notice small  issues before they become more serious. 
  • Basic property maintenance knowledge and experience. 
  • Experience supervising a small team of staff if preferred. 
  • Technical trades skills like carpentry or plumbing is preferred but not required. This role will spend time outdoors, so we require someone who enjoys moving a lot during the  day and working with their hands. Someone who is happy to work outside. 
  • Ability to use tablets and smartphones. 

Qualifications 

  • Japanese Driving License or International Driving License required.

  • Salary is between ¥300,000 – ¥460,000 monthly depending on experience
