International driver's licence required for international guests to rent/drive a car in Japan (Request from Toyota Rent-a-Car)

Every year problems in which international customers come to Toyota Rent-a-Car offices to rent a car and fail because of their lacking international driver's license occur so frequently. Niseko Marathon 2014

This is the 32nd Niseko Marathon. 1,600 runners enjoined the run throughout the beautiful fall

scenery last year. There will be Food stalls that runners and supporters to enjoy the local produced foods and drinks, also Nihon Ham's super ball catching, Yo-Yo catching and shop Nichi Ham items!

Route 58 will be closed until further notice

The route 58 will be closed until further notice.

Due to heavy rainfall and high risk of land slide, Route 58 Goshiki Onsen-Kutchan Hanazono line (well-known as the Kutchan - Niseko line) has been closed. It is at this time unknown when will be opened again.
